MPH Faculty User Guide

1. To access the Field Experience Module Binder, click on the Assessment Management Tool link, listed under the Quick Links menu or bottom of the homepage of your faculty portal.

2. When you open the Field Experience Module, please click on the “Field Experience” Tab to allow you current Field Experience Assessments to cascade down and display. Any students that have a binder associated to you will be displayed in this area. You may access the student binder associated to the course by clicking on the students hyperlinked name.

3. Once you click into the student’s binder, two panels will display Anything the student has submitted will be viewed on the left and any evaluator work will be visible and completed on the right.

4. To view the student’s assignment submissions click on the appropriate tab at the top. Locate the hyperlinked submissions under the “Name” field and click to open. *Note: any tab that does not have a hyperlink means that the student has not yet uploaded a submission.

6. To view the Site Supervisor’s Evaluations look to the right side of the binders under the heading “Site Supervisor’s Forms”. The completed evaluations will have a date listed in the “Last Update” column.

7. To communicate with the Site Supervisor an MPH Faculty & Site Supervisor Communication form has been created. Click on the Hyperlink under your assigned Field Experience Forms.

8. There will be spaces for “Date” and “Comments” to be made. To create a new entry if no space is available click on the green “+”. Add the date and your comment for the Site Supervisor.

9. Click on “Save and Close” once you are finished writing a comment.

10. To view any messages that Site Supervisor may have created for you reference back to the “Site Supervisor’s Forms” heading and look for an updated date in the “Last Update” field of the MPH Faculty & Site Supervisor Communication form.

11. Click on the hyperlink for the communication form and you there you will find any comments made by the Site Supervisor. Any replies you need to make back must be made on your own communication form.
